Your details, looked after like family
We're a small home bakery, so this is short and plain. If anything isn't clear, just WhatsApp Jeremy at 9862 6590 — it's really us replying.
What we keep
- When you order: your name, mobile number, the date and flavours you picked, and for delivery your address and postal code, plus any note you add.
- If you pay by card: Stripe handles the payment on its own secure page. We never see or keep your card number — we're only told the order is paid.
- If you join the PBakes Family: your email address and the page you signed up on.
- When you message us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook: whatever you send us.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers. Your browser remembers your cart and your light or dark choice on your own device — that never reaches us.
Why we keep it
To bake, deliver and confirm your order, to reach you about it, and to remember past orders so we can plan our baking (and say welcome back!). PBakes Family members get a few emails a year about festive pre-orders and new flavours. We never sell or rent your details, and we don't use them for anything else.
Who else sees it
- Whoever delivers your order — usually us — gets your name, number and address, and nothing more.
- Stripe, if you pay by card.
- Railway, the company that hosts this website and stores its data for us.
- WhatsApp and Meta carry the messages you send us there, under their own privacy policies.
Our social media
We post our own photos, videos and ads to our Instagram, Facebook Page and TikTok using the platforms' official tools. Those tools only publish our posts — they don't collect or keep anything about the people who see, like or comment on them. Our ads reach people by location and age only; we never upload customer lists to Meta or TikTok.
How long we keep it
We keep order records while we need them for our accounts and to look after regular customers. PBakes Family emails stay until you ask to leave. Ask us any time and we'll delete yours, unless the law says we must keep a record of a sale.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your details
WhatsApp Jeremy at 9862 6590 and tell us what you'd like: a copy of what we hold, a correction, leaving the PBakes Family list, or deleting your details altogether. This also covers anything linked to our Facebook, Instagram or TikTok accounts. We'll sort it out within 30 days at the latest — usually much sooner.
Keeping it safe
Orders live in our own password-protected system, used only by us. Card details never touch it.
